Sensor Tower data shows that as of March 2024 for mobile games, Monopoly GO! Scopely has earned $277 million on the App Store and Google Play.
Monopoly GO! returned to the top position in the list of highest-grossing mobile games globally. Of which, 79.4% of revenue comes from the US market, the French market accounts for 3.7% and the UK market accounts for 3.6%. In March, the game introduced 6 new activities such as the monthly Partner event, St. Paddy and the Sunset Treasure through updating the new version. This kept players actively engaged throughout the month, so the game’s monthly revenue reached a new high and topped the list of highest-grossing mobile games globally for the first time.

Tencent’s Honor of Kings ranked second on the list with revenue of 234 million USD. In mid-March, the game was updated with new content, setting a record for the highest single-day sales in March. Additionally, the costumes that returned for a limited time on March 8 also performed well, with single-day revenue of nearly 10 million US dollars, the second highest revenue in March.
The other three games on the list next in order are Dream Games’ Royal Match, Roblox and King’s Candy Crush Saga. In March 2024, global mobile gamers spent $6.9 billion on the App Store and Google Play, up 4.3% year-over-year.
The US is still the market with the highest mobile game revenue in the world, contributing nearly 2.3 billion USD, accounting for 32.6% of total global revenue. China’s iOS market ranked second, accounting for 17.9%.
On March 12, Cygame’s Jockey Girl launched activities to celebrate its 3rd anniversary including many new character prize cards. In addition, the game also gives 500 gems to all gamers to encourage participation in ingame activities.
